About Us ! The Parliament Resort & Social Club is a Members-Only  resort for gay men in historic Augusta, GA. The facility is locally/gay owned. Units Available: 70 available motel rooms with selections of 1 or 2 queen, 1 king bed. Admission to Property: Membership/I.D. Required (must be 18).   We have a variety of motel rooms for your comfort or you may purchase a Grounds Pass(primarily locals).  A grounds pass includes use of the entire facility and lockers/towels may be rented or you may bring your own towel & lock. General Facilities: The complex is enclosed by a privacy fence and gated entrance.  Spring and summer bring lush tropical grounds to life with towering banana trees, roses, hibiscus and hundreds of flowering cannas. Amenities: Steam Room, Hot Tub, TV lounge, Maze, novice Dungeon, Outdoor Pool,  complimentary ice and free Wireless Internet. (FYI: There are No phones in rooms) Pride/Gift Shop: We an Pride/Gift shop that has an extensive selection of items: Bumper stickers, T-shirts, coffee mugs, jewelry, condoms, lubricants, flags, rainbow beach towels,  2xist Underwear, cock rings, greeting/birthday cards, Bear & Leather items, novelties and videos. Cafe': We have a quaint Cafe on property with indoor or patio poolside dining, serving a variety of dishes for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner . Open weekends only. Environment: This is a cruisy atmosphere.  Membership consists of both singles and couples. This is not a fully clothing-optional facility; however, nude sunbathing is permitted at the pool. Bars/Restaurants: . Although we don't have a bar on property; there are two local gay bars ("The Shack" and "Club Argos") that are only a short drive.   Club Argos is a 2 story bar with high-energy dance music downstairs and a quieter setting upstairs.  "The Shack" is also open ALL night when the Georgia bars close and also open on Sundays! There is also wide variety  of restaurants within a very short drive.  Please consult your guest room book or inquire at the front desk for the Menu Book (a collection of local menus). Personal Checks: Not Accepted. Pets:  If you cannot make other arrangements for your pet and must bring it with you, the following apply: Pets should be only small/medium size dogs, cats, or birds.  Please inquire at the front desk if you have any other type of pet.  Control of your pet and/or its disturbing of others is your responsibility.  If your pet is disturbing others (i.e. barking) and you cannot quiet him/her, please be aware that you may be asked to leave without a refund.  We ask that pets not be brought anywhere forward of and including on the Café deck, the Pool area, or inside any of the common buildings. There is a $15 Pet Fee per stay (not per night) to cover the many extra steps we take to sanitize a room after a pet has occupied it. Although your “child” may not have fleas, etc. please understand that this is a standard required precaution.  Please remember to not let your pet “visit” other rooms. You are asked to inform us of pets when making your reservation or upon arrival.  If you have a pet with you and were unaware of the pet fee until you read this, please let us know immediately so that we make the proper housekeeping notation on your room card. If you fail to inform us of your pet and we discover it, the Pet Fee is doubled.   Clubs/Groups If you have a club or group that would like to plan an event with us, please let us know.
